Reading with Coffee
Join us for a cozy Saturday at Exit Zero Coffee. Bring anything you’d like to read.
This is a free event, but we encourage you to make a purchase at the venue and help us support local businesses!
About the location:
Exit Zero is a cozy coffee shop offering a selection of coffee, tea, and more with breakfast sandwiches and toasts
Click here for their menu and prices - please note they have no vegan food options at this time but they do offer dairy-free milk options
There’s a playlist on, so if you need your own/no sound, definitely bring headphones
A selection of tables and chairs sit among a cute couch and big chair, plus outdoor seating that’s dog friendly
Plenty of parking in their lot
Nearest library is Sahara West, and Buffy’s Book Boutique isn’t too far either
What to expect:
When you arrive, place an order at the counter and they will call your name when it’s ready
If you’d like to meet the organizer to say hello you will see them seated somewhere inside, check Instagram for an update. She will have a little gift for each attendee!
Seating may be up to availability, so the group won’t necessarily all sit together. Feel free to move if a spot opens up, or choose the spot that suits you best
You are welcome to sit with the organizer if there is a spot open
Spend as much or as little time as you like, the important thing is you showed up and dedicated a little time in your week for reading

This truly is a no pressure, low effort environment. Don’t wanna chat? You don’t have to
If you do want to use this event to socialize, be sure to ask that person if they want to chat too — your books are a great ice breaker!
Remember the first goal is reading, and the secondary goal is connection
Please be kind and courteous to others, help contribute to an environment of inclusion and safety
