Hosted by Crush Pad Wine Bar | Oct 7th at 5pm

Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice

One of the novels credited with crafting the vampire genre as we know it, this gothic horror published in 1976 was Anne Rice’s writing debut. As the start of a 13 book series titled “The Vampire Chronicles” and inspiration for decades of popular media, this book is one to read for any fans of horror, historical fiction, and–of course–vampires.

Whether you have already read this book or are interested in starting it, this event is meant to encourage attendees to think about wine pairings as another layer to enjoying a book. We recommend reading at least some of the story before the event, and bringing your copy along! There will be a chance to chat, read, and indulge.

Immerse yourself in a vampiric 18th-century world with a paired flight of wine and cheese

5:00pm - Please arrive on time and get settled at the group table

5:30pm - Sommelier presentation of wine flight and cheeses, paired on theme with the iconic novel. You don’t want to miss this!

6:00pm - Then, enjoy light conversation about the book, or choose to read to yourself, while enjoying your wine and cheese with the group

Your ticket includes:

  • three wines paired with,

  • three cheeses (or vegan substitution)

  • gratuity

  • short sommelier presentation

Purchase your ticket directly from the business here:
