  • Seating may be up to availability, so the group won’t necessarily all sit together. Feel free to move if a spot opens up, or choose the spot that suits you best.

  • You are welcome to sit with the organizer if there is a spot open. 

  • Spend as much or as little time as you like, the important thing is you showed up and dedicated a little time in your week for reading.

Social aspect:

  • This truly is a no pressure, low effort environment. Don’t wanna chat? You don’t have to.

Join us for a cozy mid-week hangout in Downtown. Bring anything you’d like to read.

  • Velvet Vine Wine Bar is a cozy and spacious venue serving wine, cocktails, and coffee all day.

  • The noise level is low, perfect for reading with a good playlist playing in the background

  • There is a variety of seating available, from couches to chairs, to a bar with stools.

  • Iconic book store Writer’s Block is right around the corner! 

  • Parking is on the street, but check the surrounding streets for shady spots under trees.

  • Mention code “PAGE TURNERS 15” for 15% off your order during the event!

  • When you arrive, you’ll order at the counter and then find a seat. They give you a number and bring your order over to you, as long as you specify “for here.”
